FACILITIES
Our state-of-the-art Emirates SkyCentral facility in Dubai is the world’s largest air logistics hub, with operations across Dubai International (DXB) and Dubai World Central (DWC). Our operations are linked by a 24/7 bonded truck service that uses special routes to expedite delivery.
With an avian team on duty 24/7, we are able to provide additional support and ensure animal welfare is handled with every journey.
EQUIPMENT
Our ventilated Cool Dollies deliver temperature protection while also helping DOCs breathe easily during transit.
JOURNEY
Chick hatchlings are placed safely on pre-cooled pallets configured to maximise airflow and temperature regulation. They are then transported rampside in pre-cooled Cool Dollies with a ventilation system that welcomes the fresh outside air. The air is then cleaned using custom-built filters and cooled and circulated inside the refrigerated interior. With Emirates DOC, young chicks are given top priority for their safety. Chick-carrying pallets are then placed onto Cool Dollies that benefit from ramp and dispatch priority and then the chicks enter a pre-cooled cargo hold with onboard hydration options. Priority treatment continues on landing, with transport to warehouses mandated within 90 minutes of arrival.
